ABOUT ME
I was raised in a Christian home scarred by divorce. I lived with my mom and step-dad during the school year and my father during the summers. I believed the Gospel early on but had my first tangible experience of God in fifth grade when my pastor quoted, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” to the congregation. When he said that, unspeakable peace came over me. A few years later, my dad and step-mom divorced which sent me into a brief depression. The only place I found relief was in the Church among my brothers and sisters in Christ. It was then, in 7th and 8th grade, that I fully decided to devote my life to Christ. A few years later in high school I felt a strong calling from God to teach and within a week my youth pastor offered me a chance to preach. Thus my calling was made clear. Since then I have actively positioned myself to follow God’s call through furthering my education in Biblical studies and a Masters of Divinity, serving in churches, and serving for a time as a faith based Parent Aide social worker.
